Definition of accreditation

Webster dictionary defines accreditation as "to certify as meeting certian set standards." Much like any legitimate martial art federation or martial art Ryu. Any legitimate martial art Ryu must have accreditation. It promotes the practitioner's self-esteem for success and their accomplishment.

One thing that we must get away from is, we don't have to be certified by an Asian federation. There are hundreds of outside federations that are highly qualified to be fantastic organizations and for anyone to believe that only Asian martial arts hold superior over any non-Asian martial arts federations is foolish.

One thing that many practitioners seem to forget is, you can only be as good as your sensei's ability to pass on his or her knowledge. It basically comes down to, one's evidence of qualifications or authority (credentials).
